Disseminating our project at primary schools

Our project students have happily come back to their primary schools to explain to primary students and teachers our project Go For Literacy to Enlighten your Future that this scholar year ends.

By means of visual presentations, students have been shown the tasks done in class as well as some videos to explain their experiences in other foreign countries, such as Estonia and France. In fact,  our students have expressed how wonderful this experience has been by means of a wordcloud.

Moreover, mentors have been given a sample of our students' stories written during the 2nd year Etwinning project as well as a copy of the manuals done by Erasmus teachers that compile the most useful activities to put into practice in class for students to improve their linguistic competences. It has also been a chance to disseminate our latest Erasmus event, our Erasmus day that we held last 5th June 2019.

Post-Estonia dissemination actions

Back to La Llagosta, we've been spreading all the activities that we implemented in our last C3 mobility in Paikuse Pohikool in Pärnu (Estonia). We also explained our scholar community how is the project going, all the actions implemented during the 1st year by teachers and students, previous mobilities and future ones. In order to do this, we make use of our project's blog, INS Marina website and other school social networks such as facebook, instagram or twitter, project's instagram @ gofor_spain, and its facebook profile, INS Marina magazine, La Llagosta 08120 local press, as well as teachers' meeting where the coordinators and the mobility participants have explained these items in more detail.

In our lessons, students can also check how the mobility was and all the activities and projects we will implement during the 2nd year.

GoFor... Estonia!

From 24th to 28th September, five teachers from Institut Marina attended the 4th teachers' training mobility under the Erasmus + programme GoFor at Paikuse Pohikool in Parnü (Estonia).

We spent a week working collaboratively to review project objectives,  continuous assessment actions (partnership swot analysis), collecting best activities to deal with writing strategies in our lessons and getting conclusions, reviewing Twinspace second-year tasks for our students to implement, as well as agreeing on 2nd-year mobilities.

Apart from all these issues, it was a wonderful week where we also had the chance to meet first-hand Estonian culture and people living in Parnü. Indeed, this will be the location of our next students' exchange mobility last week of March.

C2 Gofor Mobility France

During one week, from the 28th May to 3rd June, we spent some days together in the first pupils' Gofor mobility in Collège Saint Anné ( Bordeaux).
We met in order to develop our teachers’ oral skills manual to improve our teaching practice. Our students took part in different activities and workshops to improve their listening and speaking in both English and French languages. For example, they developed a story, created dialogues, perfomed a play, and even interviewed other school members, among others tasks.
Moreover, the French Gofor project fair took place during one day in the mobility. We met at school to do a book crossing, as well as sharing with others our love for reading. Students also watched a traditional shadow play puppets show made by pur Turkish partners calld Karagöz.
Regarding culture, we had the chance to participate in a photo rally activity in Bordeaux city centre as well as visiting le Dune de Pilat as the biggest dune in Europe, it was such a fun!
Here you can check the project pictures as well as all of our students productions on our youtube channel.
